Costas and Carla, and their son Eddie are in charge of security here at Pwll Clai. They do a wonderful job of looking after the littl'uns, and letting us know when there are strangers about. They have given us two litters of fabulous puppies, and now Carla has been retired from breeding and spayed so they can both concentrate on their job of border patrol!!!
Eddie's domain is the front of the house, where he lives at peace with the ducks and chickens, and keeps an eye open for callers. | |

Eddie was a stillborn puppy, who was revived at the insistence of our sons. We would have given up long before had our boys not been so determined to try for longer, and it took 40 minutes to resussitate him. He was number 13 in the litter, and the last born. He was quite a difficult puppy and took a long time to grow, but it just goes to show that determination pays off, just look at him now!!

Xena is our latest addition to the Bullmastiff 'Guardian' pack. She looks dark at the moment, but when she is grown up, she will be a lovely pale fawn.
Xena will live with Eddie at the front of the house. At the moment, she's being taught not to chase chickens!!
